As part of the „Kunst der Begegnung“ workshop at the Kunsthalle Bern, artist Eva de Souza invited us and our audience to come together and experience embroidery as a silent means of protest. In her artistic practice, de Souza uses embroidery to address structural racism, such as racist police violence. Embroidering together created a space for sharing and collective experience. Thank you so much, Eva, for being vulnerable and powerful in holding space for us, and thank you to everyone who came, for helping to transform the Kunsthalle Bern into a space of encounter”.  KunstaHalle bern 2024
